Regency Cafe is an absolute gem of a place, situated in West London just around the corner from the Tate, traditional English fayre is served up all day, with queues often snaking around the block.

The cafe opened in 1946 on Regency Street and the art deco style with formica tables and little rows of friendly sauces and condiments lined up next to chequered curtains can't fail to make you smile.

This drawing was made during the first lockdown of 2020 whilst dreaming of sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers in a bustling cafe.
